Great time on the Manistee today with Paul. Again, wonderful high 60’s weather, a great run of Chinook salmon, and hookups throughout the day. Some steelhead are beginning to show up; I Spey cast to one that porpoised as early arriving steelhead are wont to do, but this one didn’t want to play. With more arriving on the Manistee and on the Muskegon, we’ll have plenty of shots at success.
Today, though, was all about Kings, and Paul reveled in it all day long. Thanks, Paul, for a wonderful day. Hope we can do it again soon.
