Happy Halloween!

If you are taking your kids out this evening for the candy festival please have them ask for a bottle of water, so we can pour into the river! The Mo’ is back to a ridiculously low state again; rain is badly needed. Despite the low water steelhead fishing is still productive. Numbers of fish in the system are on the low side but if you know where to look chrome will be there.  Jeff Segard and Pete Vredeveld joined me on the hunt for chrome yesterday with some decent action. Salmon were still available if you sorted through the “skanks”. Small nymphs and egg flies produced today. Pictured is Jeff with a beautiful Muskegon River steelhead.

Tight lines,

Steve
