That a wrap! Today concludes my salmon season for 2010–it has been a long one! I’m not going to rule out a few lines tossed in the direction of salmon on slower days of steelhead fishing in the next couple weeks, for the most part, I am done with salmon.
Jon Rudolph and his guests Lenny and Brian joined me today on the Mo’, if you can say we finished my 2010 season in grand style, then today was it–lots of fish in the net, and some pretty nice fish to boot. Strangely fluctuating water was again present today, though not as extreme as in the past few days. Weekend anglers should find enough salmon to play with; rain is coming and so is the chrome!
I have the whole weekend off!!! Perfect for some reflection before the chase begins Monday.
