Jim West and his guest Mike and Tim joined Dave, Fred and I Monday and Tuesday for some Muskegon River salmon fishing. While big numbers of fish certainly are not the case this year some decent fishing was had by the crew. Trout and steelhead opportunities are being had daily as water temperatures are ideal. I did not use my camera much as the weather was less than photogenic. Picture is one of Mikes salmon.

Scott Agers and his fishing crew- Jack Agers, Jim, Dave, and Tom joined Dave and I today for a very cool day on the river; the coldest day of the season so far. Salmon fishing was fair and the chrome was cooperative though very camera shy! Pictured is Dave with a”pig’ salmon and Scott and Dave with a double.

We are in very much need of rain on the Muskegon; salmon numbers are in a very fast decline. Steelhead fishing is improving but warranting many casts.

Tight lines,
