Make way for the Chrome

Fly fishing veteran Harry Boesch and his friend Tom Wood joined me on the Muskegon today. With all the cool weather of late today’s above normal temperatures seemed incredibly warm. Much needed morning rain greeted us and made for perfect conditions on the river.  Forecasters are predicting a fairly good rain event moving in late Thursday and lasting into late Friday; this should really give the staging fall steelhead the easy ride up stream just in time for the anglers looking to concentrate their efforts on fall chrome. Pictured is Harry and Tom with a sample from today.
