Does anyone ever get hurt fishing? (inside story–lol)

Another scorcher was in store today as Indian Summer was in full swing. Morning temps in the fifties give way to afternoon highs in the upper 70’s to near 80 degrees–not exactly made to order for salmon fishing. The water flow is hovering around 1000-1100 cfs making for extremely skinny conditions. Despite the conditions morning fishing is very good; by afternoon the fish have lathered up with tanning oils and wired their mouths shut. Joining me today was Dan and Phil. Phil was new to the game of fat lines and indy’s, while Dan was a seasoned pro. Pictured is Phil with his first river salmon.
