Harry Boesch and Mike Harvey joined me for a soggy but much needed rain day on the river. Fishing today was good as the low skies kept the salmon very active all day. Forecasters had told of exiting rain showers by day-break but much to our liking they hung around and continued the soaking. New fish will surely make their way from the lower river with the increase in flow; steelhead will likely increase in numbers as well. Egg flies and small nymphs fished beneath indy rigs continue to be top producers.

Take a look at the salmon that loved Harry sooooooooo much that it tried to give him a farewell kiss before his return to the river.
