The Avalon Group joined RQ today for their annual salmon trip. It would seem that the crew was ready for a couple days of fishing as work was consuming them since last year. Fred, Don, Dave and myself always enjoy this crew of guys. For the first time that I can remember we had one member of the group (Rio) take a leisurely swim in the river for the pure enjoyment of it. With temperatures flirting again with the 80 degree mark I must admit that I was a little jealous.
Robert Foster was privelged to fish a location that had multiple steelhead and resident brown trout feeding on the salmon eggs. Though the steelhead were elusive the trout were ready to play. Pictured are Robert and Bill with a few from today.
