July Spring Steelhead?

F
From the sound of things our whole State received some of the torrential rains and storms that provided us a less than desirable day here in the Soo. Despite the stormy day the morning bite prior to the storms arrival was solid, leading the way, whitefish. While not all of the whitefish were big, they provided steady action. The Atlantic bite was pretty soft, but not completely off, we did land one small grillse about 3lbs. The surprise catch of the day just as the storm moved in was this pretty rainbow (steelhead).
