Capt Dave DeVries and myself, had the pleasure of hosting several wonderful women of The Fly Girls of Michigan, for the last two days. While the wind was blowing for much of their trip it certainly didn’t discourage. Though the bugs wanted to play the winds didn’t leave much of a chance for dry fly fishing the the last couple days. Streamer fishing has been the game; dropping water conditions has left the fish moody and many fly changes have been required. Caddis, bwo’s, sulfers, March browns, and gray drakes are starting to get looks….a little less wind and more consistent emergence’s will have the fish looking up very soon!
