Bob Nykamp and his guests Doctors-Scott, Kerry and Bill of Pine Rest joined Captain Fred and myself for a very good and soggy day of steelhead fishing on the Muskegon River. The rain held off until about 9:30 am this morning but when the skies opened it really came down. The river has fallen to around 4100cfs but will surely shoot way up after today’s soaking; high dirty water steelhead fishing will surely continue for a while. Hexes, Antron stones, steelhead candy, and fry patterns were tops today. Pictured is Scott and Kerry with a sample from today.
