Major rain today, and we certainly didn’t need it! The river is going to get a major flush in the very near future, this is truly unfortunate because the river is fishing extremely well. Joining Capt. Dave and I was the Dow group for their annual spring steelhead trip with us. Fishing was great minus the torrential rains and briefly gusty winds. Everyone was into fish but Petterson stole the show landing a near personal best. For the first time in a long time, crossdresser hex patterns with copper flash made for a near grocery shopping experience–the males just couldn’t get enough!I didn’t even bother to bring the camera out today–too bad because the fish porn photo shoot would have been sick!
