After yesterdays walleye festival we had a much better day today. The river was still “blowing” this morning but as the day progressed it started to clear and drop back to a very fish-able state. The high dirty water mandated going “big” with our presentations; buffet eggs in steelhead orange, large estez stones, and big leeches produced fish. As the water dropped fishing blind fast water made our day. The fishing forecast is great-the fish are here! Pictured is Steve from Leopardo Construction with his first steelhead!

Tight lines,

Steve
