The past three days I’ve shared the water with longtime guests and friends Rusty & Boyd. This trip was packed with every feeling a steelhead fisherman could ever experience–fishless drifts, broken leaders, lost fish, do-overs, cold toes, and celebrations. Without these feelings steelhead fishing would be just like many other types of fishing. This why we steelhead fish–its like writing a new chapter of a book everytime you’re on the water.
Warmer weather seems to have given the steelhead a needed boost in overal temperment today, lets hope this trend continues! Pictured is Rusty with a couple from the trip.
