A Different Kind Of Year & Old Friends

The increased flow from last weekends melt certainly has steelhead on the move. Water temperatures remain very cold–around 34.5 degrees keeping things very much a late-winter affair. Water clarity the past two days has been pretty low, though noticiably better this afternoon. Flows have peaked and conditions should rapidly improve even as we head through the day tomorow. Look for things to get noticeably easier very soon. Joining me today were long-time guests and friends Bill & Dave. Last year it was all about Dave on our early spring date, and this year Bill was the one infront of the camera. Pictured is a pretty hen that Bill posed before lunch.
