Can you say Clear?

With the 2011 Winter show season behind us, let the parade of chrome begin! Water conditions are improving daily as the flow is on the increase from the melting snow pack. Water temps are still very cold and should keep the fresh chrome locked down in their winter haunts. I’m sure some of the early fall fish will take care of business despite the cold temps. Stone fly activity has picked up with earnest and will continue for the foreseeable future. Pictured from today is a fabulous chrome hen taken from a winter run and a colorful winter male, as well as two stages of stone flies–adult and nymph, photoed parading around the banks of the lodge.
