Yick=Steelhead

Freezing rain steelhead fishing–what can you say, steelhead just like foul weather!

Joining Captain Dave and I today was Grant, Jeff, Matt, and Joe of Elliott Donnely TU, Chicago. The icy morning conditions certainly didn’t cause any pause for the crew today–actually, I think they kinda liked the adversity. The steelhead however continued their moody behavior. The runs that produced, put out in the first few drifts, nothing was earned by staying the course. Keeping moving seams to be the name of the game. I didn’t take a lot of pictures today with the adverse conditions, but hopefully the guys will pose a few more tomorrow for Dave and I. Pictured is Jeff Hoffmann with a “looker” between rain showers today.
