Worth the wait

The weather put the kibosh on every opportunity Kris had to fish during the month of February. Thankfully we were able to break the cycle and enjoy a nice day on the river today after a lengthy wait. The river remains low, cold, and clear which is typical for late winter. Glimpses of spring are around as new silver fish slowly trickle in. We nymphed and swung flies today and both provided opportunities at nice steelhead. Pictured is Kris with a couple from today.
