Winter fly fishing

Water temperatures on the Muskegon River are near winter normal—36 degrees and 1900cfs. Winter fly fishing for both trout and steelhead is good. We haven’t had many days that weren’t conducive to fishing at this point this winter, however a good dose of cold weather appears to be on the horizon for next week. Pick and choose your days, it’s certainly worth and escape from the office. Pictured is a great holdover rainbow trout caught with RQ guide Jay Allen.
