When Kentucky residents Kimberly and husband Vincent accepted an invitation to a wedding in Zeeland, fly fishers that they are, they decided to turn their first visit to Michigan into a real getaway. First, fly fish for Chinook salmon and then stay a night at the Muskegon River Lodge with Chef Jenn preparing one of her gourmet dining experiences. Having never fished salmon before, Kimberly and Vincent found themselves loving the river and the fly fishing it offers. Salmon are moving into full spawn mode with a few steelhead starting to make their fall appearance as well. All in all, a special day with two wonderful people who found themselves thinking that the MO is a pretty sweet river!
