Steelhead fishing on the Muskegon River lately has been a lot like the weather—its had its ups & downs.
Dr. Buckley joined me yesterday and we enjoyed a very nice January day on river swinging flies. While our opportunities weren’t numerous we were graced by some good grabs. Had I been a little quicker getting my frozen net unstuck from my boat floor we surely could have photographed some nice chrome, winter does pose a few unique challenges.
Our weather roller coaster look to be trending warmer this week—our snow in the woods is going to disappear.
