Unseasonably cold weather has been the theme since the end of last week. Fortunately for me I was able to stay south since last post to enjoy watching my sons soccer team play some games in Missouri. Back on the river today with a ridiculous morning start temperature of 12 degrees was certainly a rude change of pace. Jeff and John both worked very hard for their opportunities today. Unfortunately for them the steelhead fell short of the net but both were able to find success alternatively with walleye and resident brown trout.
