TGIF isn’t something that you typically hear from a fishing guide anywhere, everyday is a Friday for us wink wink. However, TGIF was the common theme for the guys joining us from Sun Med. They were thrilled to kick their weekend off early on the river fly fishing. I’d suspect by the increase in traffic on the river today that it’s likely to be a pretty busy weekend on the river.
Salmon numbers are definitely at peak or past peak in my opinion and steelhead continue to filter into the system. We’re ready for another dose of rain to freshen things up on the chrome front for sure. Pictured is Nick with a nice steelhead right out the gate this morning. I’m pretty sure it was just what he had hoped for on a Friday out of the office.
