Sunny and too nice

It’s truly hard to complain about the beautiful sunny late fall weather we’re having. I know pretty much only the duck hunters and steelhead fishermen would love some dreary conditions. Simply, it’s sunny and way to nice for easy fishing. This being said, the river is sparkling bright and it’s hard not to enjoy natures beauty. Finding player fish first thing in the morning or in the afternoon shadows will be key as long as this weather continues. Pictured is Gil with a nice steelhead took his swung fly right out of the gate this morning with RQ guide Tim Oliphant.
