Soggy conditions

We haven’t had too many forecasted all-day rains in a while so I shouldn’t complain too much. This being said, I was pleasantly happy when the faucet turned off early this afternoon and things began to dry out. Seasonally cool temperatures along with a good dose of rain should hopefully usher a good push of fall steelhead into the system. Conditions look really good for swinging flies for fall steelhead over the next several days.

We had to work for our opportunities today on the river. Pictured is Pablo with his first steelhead on a two-handed rod. Congratulations!
