It hasn’t been the most hospitable week on the Muskegon River. Winter tightened its grips on the area with cold winds and daily snows. Only a few small windows of opportunity presented a chance to wet a line. RQ guide Jay Allen saw that window and wanted check in on our resident trout.
Muskegon River trout are blessed with a seeming endless supply of scuds, nymphs, and other small minutiae. The difficulty is sometimes finding hungry trout!
Jay was happy to report our rainbow trout are doing just fine and look as beautiful as ever!
