Slow transition toward fall

The Muskegon River is in great shape heading towards the fall season. Water temperatures are slowly falling in the 60’s with decent flows for the time of year. Trout are slowly transitioning from their summer holding areas and will better distribute themselves throughout the system over the coming days/weeks. A few migratory fish are present in the system. Pictured is Kristine enjoying the beautiful September weather on yesterdays float.
