Right place Right time

River conditions on the Muskegon River remain ideal for fall steelhead fishing. Two-handed swung fly fly fishing tactics couldn’t possibly be more favored under our current river conditions. One problem–for what ever reason our steelhead are in a strange state of flux. Perhaps its the abnormally warm water (53 degrees), maybe its just a truly late fall, or maybe its none-of-the-above? I couldn’t sit on Santa’s lap and order it up any better–bottom line, you simply need to be in the right place at the right time! Keep swinging–its not supposed to be easy! Pictured is Ken with a nice steelhead with Capt. Dave today.
