Nice to have had a few days off for the holiday. Rest always does the mind & body good. The Muskegon River is falling nicely after several high-water days. The river is pretty clear despite the volume of flow. There has been a nice “refresh” of spring steelhead too, but I don’t expect that to last too long as the water level falls and business gets done in a hurry.
