Heart break this morning as our first fall steelhead of the season for my boat fell short of the net. It was really a comedy of errors as both clients lines managed to tangle into each other. As I was trying to untangle and ultimately cut the line that the fouled all the while having the steelhead repeatedly and run and jump all over the place the steelhead had enough and took a blistering run that was more than we could manage–bye bye steelhead. To say I was bummed would be an understatement. Shortly after lunch in a new location we were given an opportunity to redeem ourselves. Congratulations Nate on landing my boats fist fall steelhead of the fall!
