Long-time guest and friend Dean and his son Mason joined me today to try their hands at some upstream steelhead. While fishing upstream wasn’t anything new for most, today marks the start of new adventures for Dean and his family. Dean and his family are new property owners in Kelly’s riffle (Pine riffle) and soon will be very recognizeable as they learn the the “ropes” on their own and the water near their place. Hopefully today we got them off to a good start. Pictured is Dean with a well earned steelhead on a very bright day.
