Early mornings on the Muskegon River these last few days have been spectacularly beautiful, almost ethereal. Good friend and fellow fly fishing guide, Dr. Scott Smith, his wife Linda, and fellow Dentist Mark and his wife Mary, having spent two days with RiverQuest Charters and the Muskegon River Lodge, soaked in views like the one above and thrilled to steelhead and Chinook salmon brought to hand and some “prematurely released.” Just perfect weather, perfect fly fishing conditions, and perfect companionship. Sounds like, “Let’s do it again!” Here’s hoping!
