Lets say winter now

I’ve been reluctant to start using the word “winter” in my posts mostly cause I really haven’t been ready, but I think it’s time. Melting snow has dipped the river temperatures consistently below 38 degrees lately. Now that the flow is a little more reasonable the steelhead have really seemed to settle into their winter favorites. Yes, a good number of them have been in theses spots for a while, I just haven’t personally wanted to admit it.

Now that I’ve gotten that out of the way, let’s love it! Winter steelhead season is here and it treated the group pretty well today. Pictured is Jeremy with a beautifully colored winter buck steelhead from this morning. Congratulations!
