Swinging Flies Muskegon River – Good Finish

swinging flies

Dr. Burgess and Dr. Afman joined me today for a rare Saturday session of swinging flies on the Muskegon River.  I teased the guys about fishing on the weekend, but honestly I can totally relate to how busy life is with multiple kids in travel sports and other related activities. The guys definitely got to see all the latest and greatest boat models as well as the near standard issue cold-weather gear adorning all the boat occupants.

Fishing this morning was pretty tough for us and the definitely made the guys pay their dues. Thankfully the afternoon was pretty darn good and made our morning struggles a distant memory. Pictured is Dr. Afman with a super chrome hen steelhead from this afternoon.
