God Bless LR Browns

Wow, apparently there were a bunch of folks with cabin fever today! Certainly the weather this week has been anything but ordinary–that said, I’ll take some adversity to keep the traffic low!  Water levels stabilized today, though I’d guess their going to bump it from all the melting snow. Water temps have nudged just below 40 degrees–your gonna have to get your flies a little closer to the chrome on the swing from here on out…

The Burgess group joined Dave, Jay and myself for their annual fall steelhead outing. Pictured is a fantastic lake run brown that Tom caught swinging with RQ guide Dave this afternoon. It seems a little odd, but the days when the steelhead have proved tough, the LR browns have come through. Regardless, were happy to take their pictures.
