Tour de Summer

Scott and his wife Collette joined for a me for a couple days of summer fly fishing. Friday’s dry fly fishing was bless with consistent Isonychia dun which brought out some player fish. Our trout continue to be gorged and daily choices of buffet remain high. Whether dry fly fishing or subsurface, be prepared to change as one technique may or may not get it done day-to-day.

Today we had a nice little change of pace chasing summer bronze. While the optimal water temps remain a few degrees off, player fish were had. It seems the spring floods had some beneficial effects of habitat improvement–should be an excellent summer.
