Whenever my former Jenison Public Schools boss and superintendent past, Dave Dresslar, and the current superintendent, Tom TenBrink, float the Muskegon River with me, the day is sure to be filled lots a laughs and memories galore. Today was no exception with each of us regaling the others with all manner of hyperbole and elocution. Just a total riot to hang out with these two best buds and fine men from my days in the world of education.
Oh, and did I mention that we actually fished a bit? Make that a lot! The order of the day, as the spring steelhead run winds down, is to fish places others may have overlooked and, as Dave DeVries noted in his post of today, fish out the runs below the gravel.
