As a fly fishing guide, many of the seasons best days are reserved for customers. Personal time on the water is often reserved for R&D and days off are deligated to catching up on life away from the river. Though all of those parts of the business and life are important, I have tried always to make it a priority (especially when they ask) to pass along the tradition of hunting & fishing with my kids. Today my eldest son Masen (above) and his school buddy Zach (below) joined me for a nice morning on the water. The trout cooperated (more than just a little bit) and the investment toward the future was made! What more could a dad or guide want?
