Can’t say the forecasters got it wrong this time! Snow, blowing snow, and bitter temperatures provided our less than ideal backdrop to our second day of steelhead fishing. In a normal January setting, we’d have waived the white flag, but with water temperatures providing us our edge–ready or not, game on! Today our focus would be on getting Will’s fish in front of the camera. Fortunately for us it wasn’t long until his swung fly jerked and his first steelhead was posed for the camera.
Even with all their return flights canceled, this crew never let one moment of adversity tarish their trip–Fun times guys, see you next fall! Pictured is Will with his first steelhead.
