Is it August?

Gosh, finishing out the month of May with a weeks worth high temperatures in the middle to upper 80’s certiainly isn’t something any of us could have predicted a few weeks ago as snow flakes drifted up and down the river valley.  Fortunately our cooler than normal spring left our water temperatures well below normal and even with this heat wave we still have very chilly water temperatures. Our hatches continue to be heavy both in the AM & PM. Solid day time trout fishing with wet flies is going strong as well!
