From far upstream to far downstream smallmouth bass fishing is pretty consistence. Surface streamers and poppers are the name of the game if delivered by good casts near likely structures. Day to day feeding activity seems to go in shifts–the bass just seem to go hot and cold throughout the day with no particuliar rhyme or reason. Get out there when you can, its well worth your efforts.
