Long-time customer and friend Jeff introduced his younger brother John to fly fishing for steelhead today, and what great time we all had. Double digit hookups, multiple fish brought to hand, but most of all some great brother-to-brother bonding. Although Jeff and John have hunted together in Alaska, British Columbia, Northwest Territories, Quebec, Ontario, Wyoming, and here in Michigan, today was John’s first day on the river with Jeff fly fishing for steelhead. If the smiles on John’s face are any clue, today won’t be John’s last chasing chrome. Thanks, guys, and congratulations, John, for launching your steelhead-on-the fly career in such spectacular fashion!
