It won’t be long!featured

Finished up with Mark, Arif, and Dr. Padaria today. Salmon fishing was fair but the resident trout were eager. Water temps are dropping and the increased flow has the doors for the magic carpet ride open, it won’t be long and it will be rocking! Pictured is Mark with a great morning salmon. Capt. Dr. Shoaib–a world awayfeatured

It certainly was nice to be back on the Muskegon River today! Salmon fishing is spotty but available if you are patient. Trout fishing remains strong both with nymphs and streamers. The river took a very nice jump in flow today and will advance the staging salmon upstream over the coming days. Pictured is Dr. Read more

Leaving with a bangfeatured

Finished up on the Man with Dan and Pat today. Fishing was great and so was the company. While the numbers of fish certainly won’t compare on the Muskegon for a while, the solitude and beauty of our home-waters are calling and I can’t wait! Pictured is Dan with a morning salmon. Capt. Steven Kuieck

Absolute killer day on the Manistee with clients and good friends, husband and wife Jim and Mary!  We’ve said it before:  this is the best run of chinook (and coho) salmon we’ve had in years:  excellent numbers and mean weights around 18 lbs. Top fish today was Mary’s 21 lb. hen.   Enhancing the day Read more
