Here’s a thought: gather all the kids and their spouses from sundry parts of the country at the family cottage; celebrate the Fourth of July; and, then, take them fly fishing! Great move, Pat, who here poses with daughter Stephanie with one of her first ever smallmouth bass taken on a top water popper that she (with occasional coaching from Dad and yours truly) cast with a fly rod. Son-in-law Kevin deftly dodged the camera lens by whiffing more than once, I must report, on smallies that busted his popper as well. Smooth move, though, Kev! Let the lady garner the honors; just shows what a gentleman you are!
