Dr. Westhouse, his family, and friends are up for their annual fall fly fishing trip. Certainly many other fall trips have seen the river teaming with fish, but this year we’re certainly far from seasons past. Regardless, “fishing” is the name of the game and that’s exactly what we did—and very thoroughly to boot.
Yes, the run is behind schedule, but it is what it is—and we’re dealing. Salmon and steelhead are present and with some effort the results are rewarding. Pictured is Dr. Westhouse and his son Caleb with a nice morning chinook.
