Consider it Shuffled

Heavy rain and snow melt combined to give a pretty major high water event on the Muskegon River the past couple of days. River flows reached about 5300cfs and have now begun to fall. Currently we are right around 3700cfs and just about back to prime conditions for the two-handed rods. I expect the conditions to swing to be about as good as we’ve seen all fall—it only took until December! River temperature remains relatively warm at 46 degrees. Should be be an interesting week! Pictured is a nice swung-fly steelhead caught by Gavin Friday as the waters were rising with RQ guide Jay Allen.
