Cold Rewards On The Muskegon River

Winter Steelhead Fly Fishing – February

A balmy 5 degrees at 9am. was the best temperature reading I could find before we headed out for some winter fly fishing today on the Muskegon River. I had certainly hoped it would be a warmer start, but these were the cards we were dealt for today’s charter fly fishing trip. Thankfully the steelhead didn’t seem to mind the chilly temperatures and it wasn’t long before Teresa posed her first Muskegon River steelhead. Teresa’s husband had his chances too, but he readily admits Teresa always gets the photo. Congrats–it was fun for sure!
