Had the opportunity to fish with my good friend Dave Lamb today. Honestly, we weren’t expecting anything but a good time on a beautiful, but hot, spring day and the fish didn’t disappoint. It was too bright and the water was too clear for streamers and because we fished during the day not much chance for dries. However, nymphing behind sucker beds got it done! we had good action today with plenty of rainbows in the 16″ class and this nice 20″ brown. All of our bigger fish were taken on caddis nymphs today, micro eggs brought plenty of action, but mostly on stockers.

The only problem with today is the one picture of Dave with his nicest rainbow of the day was taken with the camera on my phone and for some reason the file won’t transfer. Guess it is time to get a new camera for the boat!
