Steelhead fishing continues on the Muskegon; though fish numbers are certainly dwindling -steelhead will continue to be part of the days chase. Small stone flies and caddis are hatching daily with trout starting to look up. Streamer fishing is fair; look for improvements as the egg buffet winds down or you travel further down stream.

Big browns will soon be the focus as the big suckers start to spawn by the 20th or so- if you have not tried this fishery you are missing out! This is the best way to connect with a brown of a lifetime. This fishery usually fishes from the 20th of May through June 8 or 10. Someone each year boats a near ten pound fish. We have prime dates for trout fishing through the month of June available.

Tight lines,

Steve
