Non-stop laughs, “remember whens,” and news of who is doing what competed with a bunch of steelhead that wanted to play today. Former Jenison Public Schools superintendent of schools and my former direct supervisor, Dave Dresslar, and current JPS super, Tom TenBrink, connected with one another and me in my boat as they are wont to do a couple of times each year. And what a day it was: temps in the 80’s, light fishing pressure, and hookups all day rendered it all just perfect. In short, a just reward for the nasty stuff we endured in March and April.
